Homemade Rice Pudding

 

Ingredients:
2 1/2 cups milk
1/3 cup of uncooked white rice

Pinch of salt
1 egg
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 tsp of vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon of cinnamon

Directions:
  1. Cook the rice in milk for about 20-25 minutes. Stir frequently to prevent the rice from sticking to the bottom of the pan.
  2. Whisk together egg and brown sugar and add into the saucepan of rice and milk. Stir on low heat for 5 to 10 minutes until thickened.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla and cinnamon.

    Serve warm or cold.👍
